Team Up!

This is not the first idea of a Startrek-Mod mentioned, I know.
What I want to do is to search people who are interested in joining a "Startrek-mod Team"
I asked several people before and some asked around, so I thought for a faster Team Up, everyone who wants to join can do this by replying here and give a valid e-mail adress. It don't need to be a professional modder , we start amateur.
All you need is blender which you get from www.blender.org (later maybe 3ds max) and a littlebit time.
I hope we will be numerous...

sorry guys but I have bad news, It seems that my whole team do nothing, the only things which exist of this mod are the weapons disruptors and Phasors which I had created months ago, If you guys want some things you may ask me in the fact that I am the only working person on this Mod "team" .
I know everything to do to make this mod but I can't make it alone.
an other possibility would be if YOU support me.

I can probably help out. I've converted over quite a few ships from another Star Trek game, BOTF. Most of the models do not have hard points yet. I just finished up on a Rom Wardbird. Here's a picture.

Why don't get get mean and tell that "team" of yours to get off their lazy asses? I was really looking foward to this. If I knew how to mod a ship I would help, bbut I don't. Maybe if you tell me I could help.

Terranor05, i'm very interested in joining, can help and want to help in many things, including assuring MOVING animation for all races....my only request is that its open for discussion and as often as possible we go for what will allow players the most choice.... I am sending you an email now, please respond as soon as possible.... I am VERY dedicated to this mod, and can learn how to create the ships if need be...

I'd be happy to help. I'm afraid I know very little about modding in and of itself, but where I can help is creating the text descriptions for a Trek style tech tree.

For instance, one of the advanced knowledge segments might be:

Tree Title (V'ger Download) +10 Research

In 1996 The Earth probe Voyager was launched in an effort for its creators to learn more about its solar system. It, like many such efforts from various civilizations, eventually left its solar system for parts unknown.

Now, centuries later, and thanks to an incredibly advanced (but now extinct) race of living machines who gave Voyager the means to complete its mission to, "Learn all that is learnable." it has returned with knowledge that spans the universe.

With so much knowledge in fact, that it had become sentient and wandered the universe seeking purpose. Our scientists attempted to intercept it and access its vast knowledge. Somehow the machine merged with the chief scientist and both disapperaed.

However, the scientist was able to begin the data download before man and machine began to merge. In that nanosecond we recieved terabytes of data that will take our scientists years to fully comprehend. However, there are elements that we can apply immediately to greatly improve our existing research abilities.

I have made a new version of my Yor to Borg race conversion. If you want to prevue it e-mail me watcoshearwater@yahoo.com. It includes a bik file trade screen of Locutus with a new sound file "We are the Borg....". Shipconfig files, racecongig xml file, and custom planets. I have been assimillated too often lately, it is interesting to see a fleet of 8 cubes attacking your lonely enterprise NX01.

Sweet. I'd love to see borg cubes. Haven't seen any in tactical games since startrek amada 1 and 2.

Just a note: Voyager 1 and 2 were launched in 1977 --> trough star system and beond fearing probes, of which the first Star Trek Movie took its plot.

Not quite. But thanks for catching that. "Voyager 6" was launched in the late 90's. This fictional probe was the one the returned as "V'ger" for TMP. I missed the "6" My bad.

i would like to help, overall creating federation TNG ships. I just need to know if my help may be useful, and the procedure to convert and edit ships from SFC3 to GC2. thanks!
